TRAINING ON FUNDAMENTAL ASPECTS OF INSCRIPTION ON UNESCO’S WORLD HERITAGE LIST

This year several of the cities that are part of this Association start a new municipal administration, which represented an excellent opportunity for the Association to train them on issues related to the conservation, promotion and dissemination of World Heritage, which we are responsible for managing under the highest national and international guidelines.

The training took place on October 22, with the valuable collaboration of UNESCO Mexico, the Directorate of World Heritage of the National Institute of Anthropology and History, the General Director of Tourism Product Innovation of the Federal Ministry of Tourism, the General Directorate of Sites and Monuments of Cultural Heritage of the Ministry of Culture, the United Nations Office for South-South Cooperation, as well as the Historic Center Trust of Mexico City and the Municipal Planning Institute of Querétaro, who shared their experiences in managing historic centers inscribed on UNESCO’s World Heritage List.
